{"ob_id":26039,"uuid":"7bd4a1539085456e8d282379086516e9","title":"CRUTEM3 Global mean monthly temperature time series from the historical land-only surface temperature","abstract":"This dataset contains CRUTEM3 Global mean monthly temperature time series from the historical land-only surface temperature, produced in 2006 for the period: 1850-2010. The global temperature is calculated as the mean of the Northern and Southern Hemisphere time series (to stop the better sampled Northern Hemisphere from dominating the average).  Data represent temperature anomalies with respect to the 1961-1990 mean. \r\n\r\nA new version of the CRUTEM data set, CRUTEM3, has been produced, benefiting from improvements to the station records which provide the land temperature data.
