The data is provided as monthly 0.5 x 0.5 degree, and daily 0.1 x 0.1 degree, longitude-latitude averages containing fractional cloud coverage (the percentage of each grid cell covered by cloud), cloud-top height, cloud optical depth, effective radius and liquid/ice water paths, along with uncertainties for each parameter.\r\n\r\nThis dataset is a re-gridded version of the European Space Agency (ESA) Climate Change Initiative version 3.0 cloud product (Cloud_cci) produced to meet the requirements for distribution through the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S).
