{"ob_id":10904,"uuid":"ccc71008f3c0db6f9d2c70bbc4346f31","title":"Aqua Satellite Mission, part of the Earth Observing System Afternoon Constellation (EOS-PM)","abstract":"Aqua is under the NASA-led international Earth Observation System (EOS), a coordinated series of polar-orbiting and low inclination satellites for long-term global observations of the land surface, biosphere, solid Earth, atmosphere, and oceans, to enhance our understanding on the Earth System. The objective of the mission is to collect data on atmospheric, oceanic, cryospheric (snow and ice) and land surface conditions as well as the energy budget, together with other satellites in the Morning Constellation (the M-Train).
