Abstract
A gas chromatography multi-detector (GC-MD) trace gas analyser used as part of the Advanced Global
Atmospheric Gases Experiment (AGAGE) programme at the Mace Head atmospheric monitoring station. This instrument uses an HP 5890 (Series II) GC with two electron capture detectors (ECDs), in combination with a Carle AGC-211GC with a flame ionisation detector (FID) and a Trace Analytical RGA3 reduction gas analyser.
