Abstract

The vision of the CORDEX program is to enhance and coordinate the science and application of regional climate downscaling through global partnerships.
The program is sponsored by the World Climate Research Program (WCRP) to organise an internationally coordinated framework to produce improved regional climate change projections for all land regions world-wide. The CORDEX-results will serve as input for climate change impact and adaptation studies.
The CORDEX regional downscaling domains include: South America, North America, Africa, Europe, East Asia, Central Asia, West Asia, Australasia, Antarctica, Arctic.
CORDEX data are also available from the Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF).
