The Woodvale meteorological station (WMO id 61901) is located near Liverpool, UK, 11 m above mean sea level. It has been in operation since 1999 supporting surface meteorological observations on a 24 hr basis, linking the station to the synoptic network of the Met Office Meteorological Service.
