The GRIMM SKYOPC 1.129 Optical particle counter is located on the roof of the MSF building at Summit station, 72.578590N -38.452693E. Approximately 3 m from the ground (depending on snow drifting/ accumulation). The instrument measures surface aerosol size distribution (0.25 to 6.5 um diameter).
Data are corrected for particle loss in the inlet.
