Abstract
This dataset consists of a globally-complete daily analysis of surface air temperature for the whole Earth since 1850, based on combined information from satellite and in situ data sources. Uncertainty estimates are provided with the data.
The EUSTACE (EU Surface Temperature for All Corners of Earth) project is producing publicly available daily estimates of surface air temperature since 1850 across the globe for the first time by combining surface and satellite data using novel statistical techniques.
