Abstract
The Radar Applications in Northern Scotland (RAINS) was a collaboration between the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS), the University of Leeds and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA). The aim of the project was to collect high spatial and temporal resolution observations of precipitation over the Inverness and Moray Firth area and assess the benefits for flood forecasting.
RAINS was funded by SEPA.
