Abstract
CO2 LICOR Analyzer 7000 used to measure CO2 in the Amazonica project.
CO2 is a strong absorber in the near infrared wavelength domain of electromagnetic radiation. The instrument measures the intensity of an infrared electromagnetic wave which passed through the air sample to be analysed. The intensity is then being compared with intensities measured for different calibration gas samples for which the dry air CO2 mixing ratio is known.
