The Langford School of Veterinary Sciences site is used in the GloCAEM project by the University of Bristol.

The Langford School of Veterinary Sciences is a rural site in North Somerset, UK, 17 km south west of the city of Bristol, and 6 km south west of Bristol airport. Langford vet school contains several farm buildings and the monitoring site is on the north western edge, adjacent to an open field.

The small area containing the instrumentation is primarily for research into bee behaviour and contains trees, wind breaks and bee hives which may all distort the electric field measurements.

The weather station anemometer and the JCI131 field mill are positioned on poles 2 m above the ground, several meters from the closest building. The height of the site is 23m a.s.l.
