The EM27/SUN is a shortwave infrared Fourier transform spectrometer coupled with a solar tracker, manufactured by Bruker. It is a remote sensing instrument that observes atmospheric absorption spectra using the Sun as a light source, from which the total column concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane, and carbon monoxide in the atmosphere above the measurement site are retrieved.
