Assess the abandonment of traditional forest management. Case of study: 'Alto Tajo' Natural Park, also surveyed in 2011, (1) Map the trajectory of biomass since 2011 (2) Estimate woodland canopy and other vegetation indices from hyperspectral data (3) Measure woodland canopy temperature as a proxy of transpiration. This project used NERC-ARF (NERC Airborne Research Facility) Remote Sensing instruments collected on board the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) Twin-Otter aircraft.
