Abstract

Meteorological data was collected by the University of Manchester at Langmuir ground station in the Magdalena Mountains, New Mexico, between July and August 2022 as part of the Deep Convective Microphysics Experiment (DCMEX) project.

This dataset contains meteorological data from two ground meteorological stations. A Gill MaxiMet GMX600 meteorological station was installed at the Langmuir Laboratory main building (33.97495N, 107.18100W, ~3255 m) next to the Digitel aerosol filter sampler and provides measurements of wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, pressure, and precipitation rate. A second meteorological station, a Vaisalla WTX536 meteorological station, was installed at the Langmuir Kiva-2 laboratory next to the Digitel aerosol filter sampler and provides measurements of wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, pressure, and precipitation rate. The meteorological stations are supported by the University of Manchester scientists.
