Abstract
This dataset contains high resolution land cover maps of a subregion of Africa, produced by the ESA High Resolution Land Cover Climate Change Initiative (CCI) project. The maps are produced at 30m resolution for the years 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2019. Land Cover Change maps are also provided every 5 years (1990-1995, 1995-2000, 2000-2005, 2005-2010, 2010-2015,2015-2019), and these report (high priority) changed pixels and their year within the 5-years temporal interval.
They cover the geographic range (3.5°N – 16.3°N; 27.0°E – 43.3°E).
These maps are also referred to as historical maps.
