The Advanced Land Observing Satellite -2 (ALOS-2) is an Earth Observation satellite operated by JAXA and is the second instrument in the ALOS programme of satellites. It carries two instruments: PALSAR-2 (Phased-Array L-band Synthetic Aperture Radar - 2 ) and CIRC (Compact Infrared Camera)
