This collection of datasets provides a full time series of Sea Surface Temperature Level 3C data from the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) satellite instruments. It comprises two datasets, the v2.1 CDR dataset from the ESA Climate Change Initiative and the corresponding ICDR dataset from the Copernicus Climate Change service (C3S).

The ICDR data follows on from the CDR dataset in time, and is intended for use as a single dataset.
