HadGEM2-AO SRES A1B scenario experiment model output for the ahnde run
Abstract
These data were produced to contribute towards the EU ENSEMBLES project. The ahnde model run was a Special Report on Emissions Scenarios (SRES) experiment. The A1 scenarios are of an integrated world with the B subset specifically focussing on a balanced emphasis on all energy sources (as opposed to an emphasis on fossil fuels/non-fossil fuel energy sources). The ahnde run specifically had additional aerosol diagnostics and model evolution. The boundary conditions of this experiment were as follows: Time-varying from 1999 to 2100, well-mixed greenhouse gases (GHGs), ozone emissions datasets, land surface/vegetation, constant volcanic stratospheric aerosols & Solar irradiance. These data are provided in the Met Office PP format, but tools are available to extract subsets in NetCDF and other formats.
