ESA Greenhouse Gases Climate Change Initiative (GHG_cci): Column-averaged carbon dioxide from GOSAT-2, derived using the SRFP (RemoTeC) full physics algorithm (CO2_GO2_SRFP), version 2.0.0
Abstract
This dataset contains column-averaged dry-air mole fractions (mixing ratios) of carbon dioxide (XCO2). It has been produced using data acquired from the Thermal and Near Infrared Sensor for Carbon Observations - Fourier Transform Spectrometer-2 (TANSO-FTS-2) Near Infrared (NIR) and Shortwave Infrared (SWIR) spectra, onboard the Japanese Greenhouse gases Observing Satellite (GOSAT-2), using the Remote Sensing of Greenhouse Gases for Carbon Cycle Modeling (RemoTeC) SRON Full Physics (SRFP) retrieval algorithm. Results are provided for the individual GOSAT-2 spatial footprints.
These data have been produced as part of the European Space Agency (ESA)'s Climate Change Initiative (CCI) programme.
