Abstract
The Operational Land Imager (OLI) and Thermal InfraRed Sensor (TIRS) are instruments on board the Landsat 8 platform provides multispectral images of the Earth's surface in the visible, near infrared, shortwave infrared and thermal infrared. Landsat 8 is a joint project beween the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
