Abstract
Amazonica TOMCAT.
TOMCAT is a Eulerian, offline three-dimensional (3-D) chemical transport model (CTM). For the simulations presented here, it was used with a horizontal resolution of 2.8° × 2.8° longitude by latitude, with 60 hybrid σ-p vertical levels up to 0.1 hPa. The model meteorology, including winds, temperature, and pressure data, is taken from 6-hourly ERA-Interim analyses provided by the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) [Dee et al., 2011] and transformed onto the TOMCAT model grid using a model time step of 30 min.
