Size segregated aerosol chemical composition. Aerosol particles are separated into up to 7 size fractions within the range <0.3 - >8.0 um during sample collection (number of size fractions depends on configuration of cascade impactor used). After collection the fractions are extracted with ultrapure water and the dissolved ion composition of each determined using ion chromatography.
