The measurement site is located inside the ‘Center for Research on Solar Activity and its Effects on the Earth’, on the campus of San Luis Gonzaga University, Ica, Peru. The site is on a flat sandy soil. There is a house located 8m of the sensor position where the data is stored. There is a wall that separates the perimeter of the university located 15m of the sensor position. The site is at 402m a.s.l.
