Abstract

The ESA Climate Change Initiative Aerosol project has produced a number of global aerosol Essential Climate Variable (ECV) products from a set of European satellite instruments with different characteristics. This dataset comprises Level 3 daily gridded aerosol properties from the POLDER instrument on the PARASOL satellite, using the GRASP (Generalised Retrieval of Aerosol and Surface Properties) algorithm. This version of the data is version 0.08 and covers the period from 2005 to 2013.
