Abstract

The SHIMS (Spectral Hemispheric Irradiance Measurements) instrument collects over a hemispherical field of view – it is an irradiance instrument. The two modules in SHIMS cover the same spectral ranges as SWS (0.3 to 0.9 microns and 0.9 to 1.7 microns).
