Abstract
This EUFAR project was an inter-comparison of airborne and ground-based lidar measurements for the characterization of atmospheric water vapour and temperature profiles project aimed to provide error estimates for the temperature profiles measured by the ground-based University of BASILicata Raman lidar system (BASIL)
and for the water vapour profiles measured by the H2O-DIAL system (LEANDRE 2) flying onboard the SAFIRE ATR42 research aircraft.
